Our research highlights - by location

Cancer Research UK funds work on all aspects of cancer in more than 30 towns and cities across the UK. Much of our work is focused in our network of Cancer Research UK Centres, bringing together our researchers with local universities and NHS trusts in major cities. We employ our own scientists as well as supporting grant-funded researchers in UK universities, medical schools and institutes. 90 per cent of the UK population lives no more than thirty miles from one of our research sites.
