Our research in Aberdeen
Cancer Research UK funds a number of researchers at the University of Aberdeen. Also people in and around Aberdeen are helping our research by taking part in clinical trials for a number of cancers, including lung, ovarian and pancreatic cancers.
Our Children's Clinical Trials Team co-ordinates groundbreaking clinical trials in 21 centres across the UK and Ireland, including the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. These trials bring cutting-edge science from the lab to the bedside, making innovative new treatments available to children with cancer.
