Bone cancer - survival statistics

Bone and connective tissue cancer survival statistics are presented here. Data is presented as one and five year survival and also survival by age at diagnosis.

The latest cancer survival statistics available are for patients diagnosed in the period 2005-2009. We are currently working to update all the survival pages on this site. Find out why more up to date statistics are not yet available.

 

One-year survival rates

Figure 3.1 shows the one-year bone cancer survival rates for men and women.

Five-year survival rates

Five-year survival rates for patients diagnosed with bone cancer are shown in Figure 3.3.

Connective tissue cancer survival rates, by age at diagnosis, are shown in Figure 3.5.
