This page presents brain and central nervous system cancer mortality statistics including by age and sex and trends over time.
There are over 3,500 deaths from brain and other central nervous system cancers every year in the UK, which
accounts for just over 2% of all cancer deaths. The annual number of deaths in the UK and its constituent countries
together with the rates for the year 2006 are shown in Table 2.11-4.
