When can I visit the Cancer Awareness Roadshow?

A map of the locations we will be visiting can be found here. Please check regularly for updates to our schedule. Opening times vary according to the time of year, but generally you can visit any time between 11am and 3pm.

What locations do you visit?

The Roadshow units typically visit outdoor locations such as shopping high streets and supermarket car parks, as well as community settings such as libraries. We can set up in indoor locations too, if required, and visit community events as well.

What can I do on board?

While on board you can:

Watch our video to see what to expect when visiting the Roadshow.

Can I make a booking to see the on-board nurse?

Consultations with the nurse are held on a first-come-first-serve basis. We do however try to ensure that everyone who wants to see the nurse is able to do so.

Can the Roadshow accommodate visits from large groups?

We are happy to welcome groups onto the Roadshow, but we do have limited space so visits may need to be staggered. Please email cancerawarenessroadshow@cancer.org.uk with details of the size of your group and estimated date and time of arrival.

I am a local health worker. Can I help out on the Cancer Awareness Roadshow?

We welcome health workers who are able to give up some time to support us on the Roadshow and to help with signposting to local services. Please email cancerawarenessroadshow@cancer.org.uk if you are interesting in working with us.

Is it possible to order copies of any of the resources found on the roadshow?

Yes, you can order free resources from our online order store.

I would like the Roadshow to visit my local area. How can this be arranged?

If you would like to enquire about the Roadshow in your local area, please contact cancerawarenessroadshow@cancer.org.uk. Please note that our schedules are planned in advance, but we will try to accommodate requests where possible and appropriate.
