MPs spread the word that Screening Matters
MPs added their support to the Screening Matters campaign at the parliamentary launch of the campaign in Westminster. The event was hosted by Ian Gibson MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Cancer, to highlight the importance of the bowel, breast and cervical cancer screening programmes.

EPIC - the European Prospective Investigation of Cancer
Cancer Research UK is co-funding the UK arm of a massive study called EPIC, (the European Prospective Investigation of Cancer), a long-term study of more than 500,000 people in ten European countries, including around 90,000 British men and women, recruited by Cancer Research UK groups in Oxford and Cambridge.

Preventing breast cancer - the IBIS II trial
Cancer Research UK is funding IBIS-II. This is an important clinical trial to find out whether a drug called anastrozole can prevent breast cancer in post-menopausal women at high risk of the disease. Find out more from the scientists and trial participants in this short film.
