For Cancer Research UK’s Little Star Awards in 2011/12, some of the world's biggest stars from sport, TV and music have teamed up to support the Little Star Awards and sign the certificates which will be sent to all the youngsters who will receive an award.

“I'm incredibly proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK's Little Star Awards once again this year. Every child diagnosed with cancer goes through so much and it is brilliant to be able to recognise their bravery and brighten their lives in this way. The awards are also a wonderful way of raising awareness of the progress that is being made in the fight against children's cancer and I'd want to encourage anyone who knows an inspirational child to nominate them for this fantastic award.”
Leona Lewis, pop star

“Every child or young person nominated for a Cancer Research UK Little Star Award is incredibly brave. Often they have been through gruelling treatment while missing out on everyday fun things we all take for granted. The fact that every child nominated for an award receives one is testament to how inspirational they are. The Little Star Awards are a great way of showing these children that they are always in our thoughts and I’m really proud to support such a great cause.”
