Cancer Research UK responded to the Department of Health’s consultation on proposals for changes to public health law in England, welcoming measures to make cancer a statutorily reportable condition.

We suggested that the introduction of measures to develop a notification system for non-communicable diseases would help to fulfil public health responsibilities.
