Cancer Research UK responded to the Scottish Executive’s call for evidence on the general principles of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Bill.

In general we welcome the reforms to charity law proposed in the Bill, and strongly support the implementation of the legislation as soon as possible. In our response, we identified the areas where there is a risk of the regulatory burden being disproportionately increased.
