Petition to Scottish Executive on skin cancer

Name: Petition by Helen Irons, on behalf of Skin Care Campaign Scotland, calling for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to review its policy on tackling the growing skin cancer epidemic in Scotland.

Following a petition lodged with the Scottish Parliament by Helen Irons, Skin Care Scotland Campaign, the Scottish Executive agreed to seek the opinions of NHS Health Scotland, Cancer Research UK, Cancer Backup Scotland, the Sunbed Association, the Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC), the Scottish Dermatology Society, Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) and the Scottish Executive on the issues raised.
