The short answer is everyone as we're all going to benefit from going smokefree.
We know that people who are less well off are more likely to smoke and less likely to quit. So this is our main target audience.
Cancer Research UK is also keen to support anyone planning to quit smoking this summer. We estimate that over 750,000 smokers were thinking about giving up when England went smokefree. Stopping smoking is the best present you'll ever give yourself.
The photographs of English countryside in our adverts represent how our indoor environment will soon be as healthy as the one outdoors. When England goes smokefree we'll all enjoy more fresh air indoors.
In June and July 2007 you'll be able to spot the adverts at bus stops, on washroom doors and mirrors, and in newspapers and magazines. We've also developed online and radio adverts celebrating the new smokefree laws.
