Cross Party Group on Cancer
Cross Party Group on Cancer in the Scottish Parliament
Cross-Party Groups provide an opportunity for MSPs of all parties and members of the public and outside organisations to meet and discuss a shared interest in a particular cause or subject.
Cancer Research UK Scotland provides the secretariat to the Cross Party Group on Cancer in the Scottish Parliament. The group comprises MSPs and over 20 organisations in the cancer field. At its meeting on 13 June 2007 the group elected Malcolm Chisholm and Nanette Milne as its co-conveners.
The group meet four times a year and hear from expert speakers on the latest cancer issues.
