Cancer Research UK works with MSPs in Holyrood and in their constituencies. Through our programme of events, MSPs meet with and hear the views of cancer patients, volunteers, fundraisers, doctors and scientists.

They can support us by attending our annual conference, Scotland Against Cancer, being active at a local fundraising event such as Race for Life, or coming to one of our regular briefing meetings.

We hold fringe meetings at the four main political party conferences where our scientists give their views to MSPs and party delegates.

We also provide the secretariat for the Cross Party Group on Cancer in the Scottish Parliament, which is a forum for MSPs interested in cancer issues. Guest speakers from the cancer community brief the Group at its four meetings a year.
