Bowel cancer

The first national NHS campaign to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer, and to encourage people who have the key symptoms to go to their doctor straight away, has now launched and a range of activities will be running until the end of March.
The Be Clear on Cancer brand has already been used to promote awareness and early diagnosis of bowel cancer at a local and regional level throughout 2011 and this is the first national Be Clear on Cancer campaign in England.
This section provides information specifically for healthcare professionals, including GPs, practice teams and pharmacy teams; useful tools and resources; details of where the national Be Clear on Cancer campaign is appearing; and more information about early diagnosis of bowel cancer.
