Cell signalling - A to Z
This page contains links to content about cell signalling.
The cells in our bodies are in constant communication with each other, ensuring that they behave in the correct way to keep the body healthy. Each individual cell also contains an internal network that allows it to respond and adapt to changing signals from outside.
Scientists refer to this communication as cell signalling. Understanding how these signals pass between and within cells - and what happens when this goes wrong - is vital in understanding how cancer develops.
