Penis cancer - A to Z
This page links to content about penis cancer.
Penis (penile) cancer is rare in the UK, with around 400 cases diagnosed each year. If it is caught early, the chances of successful treatment are very high.
Most cases of penis cancer occur in men who are over 60. Men infected with human papilloma virus (HPV) are more likely to develop penis cancer. We also know that smoking and a weakened immune system increase the risk of this type of cancer.
